More than 500 years old and set in a gloriously remote rural location on Exmoor, this is a fabulous hayloft floor apartment on the Coleridge Way with enclosed garden - perfect for couples, small families and dogs. In the valley where Coleridge wrote Kubla Khan, this is a house steeped in history. The property sleeps 4, though it's just as suitable for couples, as the second bedroom is 'compact'. It has fabulous views across the Bristol Channel, and is a the perfect retreat from busy daily life.

Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

The farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the original features whilst offering modern comforts. Guests are invited to enjoy picnics, wild swimming and campfires on the river bank, and walk through the surrounding Arboretum and 17 acres of parkland. A place to totally switch off, surrounded by wildlife, outdoor activities and birdsong.

There are amazing walks from the doorstep, a favourite being the walk to Lynmouth along the spectacular East Lyn river via the National Trust tearooms at Watersmeet - The perfect place to stop for coffee halfway! Red Oaks

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Nestled on the edge of our family small holding on Exmoor with a herd of Red Devon cows, horses, chickens, sheep and dogs. Vegetables home grown and available through summer months, pick your own raspberries June/ July. With have breathtaking views, dark skies, endless walks and bike tracks right on the doorstep. Perfectly located to explore Exmoor and slightly further away there are the world famous North Devon beaches

You will love our luxurious newly converted barn with its woodburning stove and sauna. It is adjacent to our farmhouse so help is on hand with advice on the local area. Although we are in a secluded valley, it is just a short walk along the riverbank to the village stores, two recommended pubs and a tearoom, so no worries about whose turn it is to drive!
