Stunning Lakeside Shepherd's Hut - Hot Tub & Sauna

A stunning shepherd's hut in a beautiful lakeside location. Set at the back of a working farm & equestrian centre the hut is well-appointed with modern decor. Visitors will have the use of the hut, stunning firepit & BBQ. A beautiful private wood-fired hot tub is attached for your exclusive use. There is also a sauna a few steps away. The lake is well fenced, secure & very private. Visitors are welcome to fish in the very well-stocked specimen Carp lake, with multiple fish approaching 40lb.

An easy to reach (by car, bike or public transport) cosy escape. Stylishly decorated, it has its own private garden, outside kitchen and hot tub with fantastic farmland views in every direction. Situated in the beautiful West Essex countryside on the edge of London with its multitude of attractions. The Shepherd’s Hut is also within walking distance of two Forests (Epping and Hainault), two Central Line Stations (Chigwell and Grange Hill) various small villages and numerous local attractions.

Bespoke Shepherd Hut on a Rural Essex Farm

A bespoke shepherd hut nestled in a quiet field corner on a working arable farm in the heart of East Anglia. The perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life, it is ideally located to enjoy a glass of wine watching the sun set over the surrounding fields. The hut offers a luxurious feel, whilst being off-grid, utilising solar power. Within walking distance of a quaint English village, and footpaths on which to explore the countryside. Or just relax in front of the log burner.

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

Our glamping pod is designed to provide you with a luxury stay whilst enjoying all the benefits of camping.  Equipped with glass french doors you can relax and look at all of the gorgeous views.  Our pod comes with a queen sized bed, toilet, private shower room separate from the pod, indoor and outdoor seating area, wood-fired stove and a fully equipped kitchen. Welcome to The Hut at High Street Farm! The Hut is nestled in the corner of our small working farm, with beautiful countryside views all around. We aim to make The Hut cosy and comfortable, with some luxury thrown in. The Hut may be small, but is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay - mini kitchen with electric hot plate and microwave with oven setting, toilet, shower, basin, TV and of course, a comfy bed. 10% discount for stays of 2 nights or more.

With a cosy wood burning stove and underfloor heating for when you need extra cosiness, a king size bed, kitchen and double rainforest shower. We also have a selection of board games. Outside you have your own private wood fired hot tub and BBQ with countryside views while at night you can gaze up at the stars on your star gazing bed, which also makes a superb sunbed during the day!

Lovingly built, my shepherd’s hut is wonderful for a short break away from it all. Located in the rural village of Stocking Pelham in Herts, the surrounding area is perfect for country walks or cycling. Nearby pubs offer great beer and fabulous dining. A short drive away you have various attractions including Henry Moore, Audley End, and the lovely old market town of Saffron Walden. Cambridge and Newmarket are not too far either.
