It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

Set on the edge of Burton Dassett Country Park there are many excellent walks close by, great pubs and an abundance of animals at The Grove to ogle, including Alpaca, Llama, Horses and Sheep. Blinds ensure privacy and a great night sleep.

On the inside, beams are retained with added comfort of under floor heating, a designer kitchen and Aga Rangemaster cooker. The principal bedroom has an en-suite shower room. There is a further family bathroom (with bath) off the hall. The second bedroom is down a short flight of stairs. The entire property is subjected to a deep clean between bookings. Outside, the property is surrounded by fields.

The apartment is fully fitted and completely self contained with stunning views across the paddocks. Plenty of parking is available on the land (note a track road to the stables). Local restaurants are a short drive away, with an award wining Indian restaurant just ~1 mile away! Other nearby points of interest include Clarkson's Farm, Motorcross, and Chipping Norton.

Our maximum occupancy is 2 adults and a young child.
