The Post Office transports you to another time and place, our heritage-listed accomodation is the heart of the beautiful town of Waratah. Opposite the Waratah Waterfall, The Post Office offers views of Mount Pearce and the expansive Happy Valley, which stretches out into the Tarkine wilderness. Waratah is nestled in a wilderness-rich pocket of Tasmania's North West and is the perfect base from which to explore the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and the ancient Tarkine wilderness.

Be lulled off to sleep at night by the gentle lapping of the waves on your beach only 10 metres from the bedroom window. This amazing beach front cottage has a sunny North facing aspect with views to the historic port of Stanley across Sawyer Bay just 10km to the North West and the modern port of Port Latta where huge ships tie up just 3 km to the North East.

In summertime ride your bike down to the lake for a swim or bring a canoe with you to explore the bays & waterfalls the lake has to offer.
