Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

Come enjoy this peaceful season and fish, cross-country ski, snowshoe, or just relax in this tranquil renovated 1950's cabin perched atop an original boathouse with a grand view of Tainter Lake. Echo Point is only an hour from the Twin Cities and sits elevated on the shore so watching those lines is a breeze. Please note: No parties or pets and the property isn't suitable for those with mobility challenges (stairs).

Kamshire Valley's Main Cabin offers an abundance of wildlife viewing, an inviting large brick patio and firepit, miles of trails for snowshoeing, hiking and cross-country skiing. Has 1 bedroom with Queen bed; If you need more rooms we have 2 additional rustic cabins (air, heat-no bathroom) that are available for additional $50/ cabin/night. Second Airbnb is located approximately 200 feet from Cabin however no shared areas and completely private and separate from each other.
