Our ranch is an 100+ year old homestead and maker-space that we are slowly rehabilitating using permaculture practices and lots of creative love. Located in the Southwestern Colorado high mountain desert terrain, staying in the Emerald Hill Bell Tent will provide you a safe & cozy retreat as you learn about our land project, meet other campers or artists, or explore the natural wonders in the area!

Relax in a beautifully decorated 14/16ft canvas tent stocked with comforts from home. Queen bed, Full size bed, quality linens, hardwood floors & comfortable décor make this glamping feel like a real vacation! Hiking/Fishing/Tunnels/Ruins. We have four tents available for rent, rent more than one for groups or large families.

SECRET GLAMPING SITE

The glamping site is in a secret area on 1 and 2/3 acres with a pool and hot tub. We have two rooms in the house and a casita and some campers on the property adorned with Ed Haddaway's sculpture. There is a campfire and hamocks to relax in. There is a lovely outdoor hot water shower. Or you may use the shower in the main home which is just steps away from the glamping site. People love to hang out on the porch as well. There is electricity in the tent to plug in laptops and phones.

Basecamp 550 Campground Glamping Tent

Experience elevated camping in our glamping tents that accommodate two people and are situated among a few others at our eclectic campground in the valley between Ridgway and Ouray Colorado. These tents are cleverly designed with cozy fireplaces, a queen bed and some comforts from home. Our location offers mountain views and vast open skies for stargazing, as well as close proximity to the hot springs. Our heated bath house is a short 1 minute (or less) walk away from the tents.

Great spot with metal canopy, hammock, and shower jouse / bathroom and nice outdoor bar so you can play bartender. Firepits and bbq grill. Have a blast in Marfa! Bring your own tent and camp (designated areas). We offer a Shower - Bathroom House with Hot Water. 1-2 people per tent. Easy walk down East Lincoln (half mile) to central Marfa, Paisano Hotel and Galleries. The compound was designed over the past two years and is a blast ! Sorry no pets or loud parties. Riverside Glamping Tent | Off-Grid Retreat in Nature Unplug and unwind in our spacious 16’x20’ canvas tent nestled by the river. Sleep soundly in a king bed + queen futon (sleeps 4), with fresh linens and cozy touches. Enjoy solar-powered lights, fan, phone charging, a propane heater, and more. Each site includes a fire ring, chairs, picnic table, and access to shared outdoor kitchens, yard games, and fire pits. No running water or private bathroom—clean outhouse nearby.

Lose Yourself!

Spring is great for fishing, and from September to mid-October, you can listen all night to the bugling of mature bull elk in this unique place. Sleep in luxury on a California King-sized bed, featuring flannel and luxurious sheets, a heavy down comforter, and pillows. Although a work in progress, it currently features a full-size fridge and a converted sauna serving as a water closet. Electricity and internet. Please ask any questions before booking.
