Close to Lake Superior, Lester park (MTB biking, hiking, paddling, ski trails with lights till 10 PM), 5.5 miles to Bentleyville (biggest holiday attraction in MN), 2 blocks to lake walk, great for biking, running, walking & rollerblading. Pizza, coffee shop, park & gym all within 2-4 blocks in a beautiful, family friendly area neighborhood.

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

An update: we’ve made a decision to sell this beloved cabin & move closer to our grandkids. September of 2026 is the last month to reserve. Classic, Vintage Log Cabin on 2.5 acres right on Lake Superior - a cozy step back in time! 250 ft. of bedrock shoreline. 3 Bedrooms: 2 Queen, 1 Dbl. 3/4 bath, kitchen, and indoor fireplace. Outdoors: both gas & charcoal grills, firepit, firewood, a swing & picnic table. The nightly fee is for 2 adults. There's a $10 fee/night/each additional guest.

Microwave and gas range including oven. Cooking oil salt and pepper stocked on shelf. Gas grill on deck. Bonfire ring with seating in side yard. Firewood on-site.
