Rhubarb, the Station House Steam Railway Hut

Rhubarb is a well appointed self-contained shepherd's hut for two. There's an amazingly comfortable king size bed, kitchenette, shower room and flushing toilet. There is central heating so if the evening is chilly you won't be! Situated in the garden of the old Station Master's House at East Somerset Steam Railway Rhubarb is directly adjacent to the station sidings with a wonderful view of the steam trains. We include a complimentary Rover ticket so you can ride for free during your stay!

The private studio annex, which is adjoining the main property with a locked inner door, has it's own entrance, living/bedroom with double bed, table and chairs and TV/DVD player, small well equiped kitchen with washing machine and ensuite shower room with toilet and washbasin, towels are included. Godminster Manor Cottage

Set in a private cobbled courtyard on an organic farm, half a mile from Bruton, this old stone cottage has been lovingly restored. It has an inglenook fireplace, oak-framed roofs, flagstone and elm floors, with art and furniture collected over many years filling the rooms. Bruton is renowned for its restaurants and art galleries. The 'Newt in Somerset' is next door and there many other wonderful nearby destinations and beautiful walks from the farm within the surrounding countryside.

Visit Cranmore with the famous East Somerset Railway and many more attractions. Easy access to The Market Town of Frome, The Cities of Wells and Bath. Glastonbury which hosts the famous Festival. Wookey Hole and Cheddar offer excitement for the children. The coasts of North Somerset and South Dorset including Lyme Regis and Weymouth are close enough for day trips. Castle Cary train station is a short drive. We welcome dogs by arrangement.
