Our comfortable and spacious 1 bedroom apartment with breathtaking views of the Kalamazoo River is the perfect respite if you're looking to relax and be one with nature. A beautiful and peaceful retreat!!! Just minutes from the many area beaches, attractions, wineries, breweries, restaurants, shopping, vineyards, orchards, wineries, and Downtowns Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, South Haven and Holland. This is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle, but only a few minute drive to town.

Just a few miles off the 131 highway and 30 minutes from Gerald R. Ford International Airport, our location offers tranquility and comfort a short drive from Grand Rapids, Holland (Lake Michigan), and Kalamazoo. This self-contained apartment has its own entrance next to a terraced garden. Enjoy country vistas and watch for deer, turkey, hawks, and songbirds. In season, shop “The Fridge” farm stand, stocked with eggs, scones, honey, and fresh produce. Order ahead: we’ll save scones for you!

The Suite is a cozy place to rest from your travels or stay while you visit family/friends. Away from the bustle of downtown, yet only a 10 minute drive to all the venues in the Grand Rapids downtown area. It’s a small but well stocked suite , self contained space in the front of our home. Tanger Outlet is 1 mile away for convenient shopping. There are a number of restaurants close to choose from. Continental breakfast provided ( plant based) hot/cold cereal, bread, fruit, coffee bar.

Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, our 36 acres provide a respite for the body and soul with trails and vistas, and engage the mind in sustainable agriculture with a discount on our Farm Tour & Tasting. Our water is from a well. It is tested regularly and is completely safe though it can have a sulfur smell at times. There is an RO filter/faucet in the kitchen for drinking water.

In 2019 my husband and I set out to renovate this old pool house into a self-sustainable apartment or tiny home in our backyard. Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).
