Sitting amongst beautiful, ancient beech trees, our cosy, straw bale barn is an ideal place to come and relax and to leave the world behind. The barn is detached and is surrounded by trees, open fields and the sound of birds and running water.

Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

The setting of Turtley is idyllic; located in the beautiful and varied area of Avonwick, South Hams the original Mill is set in six acres of grounds bordered by the River Glazebrook. We even have our own small lake complete with an island, perfect for sunny days and idle wandering. Perhaps surprisingly for such a picturesque location, Turtley Corn Mill is conveniently located just 2 minutes from the A38 making it easily accessible from all directions. Turtley is a totally non-smoking site.

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.
