Chalet in the grounds of a large garden in the beautiful Peak District village of Youlgrave (good pubs & shops). Spectacular walks on doorstep. My mother was Swiss German and she had a large greenhouse made into the Chalet in 1992. In 2017 we fully renovated this quirky building. Easy parking, twin beds with new high quality firm memory foam mattresses in 2020, no smoking, ONE dog friendly. Direct access to covered (new 2023) decking area & shared garden so you can enjoy the water, wildlife and countryside. Food prep area with fridge, microwave, sink, kettle & toaster. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, cycle routes and climbing opportunities. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District. Car highly recommended. The annexe is attached to our family home, but has its own entrance.

Rooms with a View

A self-contained annexe, with its own kitchen and bathroom plus a separate bedroom on an open-plan mezzanine floor above, accessible via a spiral staircase. There is a large comfortable sofa bed in the living room which can accommodate two adults. There is free parking on the drive for one car. The open-plan nature of the layout make the annexe most suitable to a couple or family of 3 (or 3 close friends!) Please be aware that the stairs can prove challenging to older visitors.

The accommodation is ideal for couples, solo/business travellers as well as families. We are within easy reach of the fantastic Peak District National Park.
