The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Eagleview Cottage is a peaceful getaway tucked in the trees in our 19 cabin seaside community. Walk a few minutes down to our private beach where you can play in the sand strip, beachcomb for geoducks, crabs and starfish , watch sea life or use the firepits. Explore the lakes, golf courses, trails, or walk to Bowser Village. Hike the old growth forest beside a creek right across from our cabin! Spend your day watching wildlife on the porch, beachcombing, or visit the many attractions nearby. Cafes, restaurants, artisans, groceries and seafood markets are all just a short drive away. This cozy retreat is located on my family’s century-old farm at the base of the picturesque Beaufort Range. Bright, modern, and surrounded by open fields and forest, it’s especially well suited for longer stays while you hike, explore the valley, and the rugged west coast beyond. Quiet, and secure, the farm offers a peaceful place to return to each evening. Many solo and female travellers find this space particularly welcoming and safe — a calm setting where nature and ease come together.

In a quiet neighbourhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES.
