Snæfelsnes peninsula road is close by. Natural hot springs, Viking home of Erik the Red and his son Leif the Lucky who discovered America and the Leif Eiriksson Center all in the area. Háafell Lodge

Verið velkomin á Háafell Farm þar sem við ölum upp kindur, höldum hesta og eigum einn vingjarnlegur hundur. Einkagestahúsið okkar er staðsett 200 metrum fyrir ofan býlið, upp fjall í 130 metra hæð yfir sjávarmáli. Þetta er nýlega byggt (2020), 100 fermetra, nútímalegt hús í „torfhúsastíl“. Háafell þýðir „The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several það er í fimm mínútna göngufjarlægð frá gljúfrinu okkar og það er hægt er að fara í kalt bað í einum af fossunum.

Thurranes cottage 1

The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Wonderful cottage located on a farm in west Iceland. Icelandic horses on the farm and sheep in the autumn. The place is surrounded by the Viking Saga, history of elves and hidden people. Nearby are two famous Cathedral of the elves, Tungustapi and Ásgarðsstapi. There is only 5 minutes drive to the geothermar pool Guðrúnarlaug where you can bathe. This is where Guðrún Ósvífursdóttir lived a thousand years ago, the most noteworthy character in Laxdæla Saga. 160 km from Reykjavík

The view over Breiðafjörður from the house is amazing and the sun will not set until 23 and watching the sunset is just breathtaking

Country camper suite í Dalabyggð

The working farm Nedri-Hundadalur is located 120 km west of Reykjavik. We are in the center of Snæfellsnes, Borgarfjörður and West fjords. We offer a camper suite, with kitchen and wc. Outside the camper is a hot tub, you can use, just let us know if you want. The sleeping space is for 4 slit to two grown ups and two children. The environment is beautiful and peaceful.

Þetta er lítið 16 m2 hús er með 180 cm rúmi, aðgang að sameiginlegu salerni og baðaðstaða með öðrum litlum húsum.Það er örbylgjuofn, hraðsuðuketill, glös, diskar og hnífapör í húsinu.Það er lítill veitingastaður á svæðinu en hann verður að panta fyrirfram. Það eru 25 km í næstu verslun. Það er opið WiFi.

The cottage is designed in the old Icelandic country style, but with house heating, hot water, well equipped modern kitchen, dish washer and a wood burning stove. The ground floor is 35 (square m.) Upstairs there is a 20 square m. sleeping attic with one Queen Size bed.
