Welcome to Brent and Carla's Lake View Cottage! Our beautifully renovated, fully furnished, unique and luxurious home is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay in beautiful Lake of the Woods. Our cozy cottage is a perfect get-away for your next vacation, visit with family, work trip, staycation or weekend getaway. You will instantly be set at ease as you enter our home featuring wonderful décor, detailed craftsmanship and lots of amenities to make your stay relaxing and memorable.

Wilderness Resort- Presidential Cabin

Our cozy Presidential log cabins make the perfect getaway! Though not on the water, these 2 level log cabins (1200 sq ft) offer all the resort style amenities. There are 2 bedrooms; 1 with a Queen & the 2nd with options for a Queen or 2 twins (please advise). The cabin has a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, sofabed, jacuzzi tub, cable TV, wifi & heat/air conditioning. A southern-style porch w/2 rocking chairs allows guests to enjoy nature. Must be 21 or older, with valid credit card, to check-in!

The Studio at Dark Run Retreat

Quiet studio on a secluded 5 acres only 3 miles from town. Kick back and relax by the pool in the warmer months, or in the hot tub in the cooler months. Small trails lead to the creek running along the property, maybe you'll even catch a glimpse of the deer or turkey that wander thru...we've even seen a lil bear once! There is an apartment above the studio, so we ask that you be mindful of those guests if occupied. *The studio got a make-over! As of 10/6/20, we will no longer be hosting pets*

Catch fish off the dock in one of the best fishing coves on the lake, and then warm up at night by the fire pit . Great for families.

Adjacent to a 200+ acre state game preserve with walking trails. Enjoy our game room! This separate building hosts darts, an arcade machine (PAC-MAN, Galaga…) and a slate pool table. NOTE: Use the pool / fire pit, pond at your own risk! Pool is closed for the season.

AJ's House: Beautiful, Cozy, Renovated! 135/nt

Aunt Judy's House (AJ's) is a 19th- century cottage completely renovated in 2015. The views of sunsets, Blue Ridge Mtns and cattle across the fence will encourage you not to leave the porch. But should you decide to wander you will find hiking, history, excellent dining and a multitude of wineries within a 10 to 40 min. drive. Some guests never get off the porch as the stress of everyday life just melts away.
