The suite's own deck is nestled against the 1899 stone walls and looks onto the quiet gardens: beautiful indoor spaces and beautiful outdoor spaces: a haven in the heart of the town. About a 7 minute walk to the centre of town and 15 to the lakeshore. One off-street parking space is included. Relax in this charming and newly renovated micro suite with your own private beach. This 400 square-foot A-frame includes your own private beach for peace and tranquility. Location is off the main highway so easy to find and very accessible but does have some highway noise. Some accessibility issues with the stairs to the loft bedroom and the 200 meter walk down to your private beach. The path winds through a small cedar forest and over the creek bridge. The guest house is located in an over 100 year old building. The main floor of the building is host to The Frog peak cafe, a popular brunch restaurant in the Kootenays. The apartment is the entire top floor of this building. We are a short 15 min walk from Evergreen natural foods, and our local gas station/liquor store. We are located a 10 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches and swimming spots on the slocan river,and situated at the head of the rails t trails.
