This 380-square-foot retreat is located in town, newly refinished while still showcasing the character and charm of its historic roots. The open one-room layout includes a full bathroom, cozy kitchenette, dining space, and a comfortable living area. Sleeping arrangements feature a custom-built queen Murphy bed and queen sleeper sofa, making it a perfect stay for couples or a small family.

The Coon Creek Camping Cabin is a remote and rustic cabin in the Medicine Bow mountain range. This cabin is for the adventurous camper who wants to get off the beaten path. It has aerial views as well as trail head access and close to the Sand Dunes. Free Trailhead parking with a short 3 minute hike to your cabin (recommend packing light). Enjoy the quiet beauty of nature in this truly Wild place. Hike into the Non motorized areas of the State Forest or bring your ATVs for some fun in the Sand.

Close to Rabbit Ears Pass, Buffalo Pass, Steamboat, Snowy Range, Gould, Cameron Pass, the sand dunes, and many other amazing outdoor adventures. We offer extra parking for snowmobile trailers, campers, etc. Non-ethanol fuel is located 2 blocks north of this property at Corkle Oil. We also offer a charger for electric vehicles.

The spacious deck overlooks the forest and the mountains as well as the warm water ponds.
