Our space may be small but it has all of the amenities you would need for a relaxing stay. You will enjoy your own space in this studio like setup which includes a living area, bed area, kitchen, full bathroom, and even your own driveway for parking. We can’t wait to host your Waco stay!

The German Schmear Cottage is tucked away on a quiet street in the Mountainview area. It is centrally located (HEB, Target, and Starbucks are right down the road) and only 10-15 minutes from downtown, the Silos, and Baylor. Once a detached garage, this 400 square foot space is now a cozy, modern living space and is on the property of the main German Schmear (fixer upper) house, which is also a vacation rental. Our house is about 5 minutes to Magnolia Silos, less than 10 minutes to Baylor, and in the same neighborhood as the castle in Castle Heights. This newly-renovated home built in 1911 is the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself! Our house sleeps 6 and has 2 full bathrooms. The unit is located in the Uptown neighborhood, just adjacent to downtown, with Pinewood Coffee Roasters and Harvest on 25th just around the corner!
