We have been renovating an old 1950's dairy barn since 2013. We fell in love with this location because the barn is set in a beautiful valley in the Appalachian Mountains. You have to drive through the creek to get to the barn. We built this private bungalow on the creekside of the barn with its private entrance. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful , quiet and tranquil oasis. Close to Hale Lake stocked with rainbow trout or hiking on the many trails nearby. The Virginia Highland Horse Trail is about a mile away. This is a rustic cabin . approx. 416 sq.ft. with non potable water but some bottled water will be provided . Hot water is limited. If a quiet and peaceful stay with plenty of outdoor recreation is what you looking for you won't be disappointed.
