I lavori di restauro hanno cercato di preservare la forma originaria.Una casa quindi che cerca di parlare della storia passata, ma allo stesso tempo reinterpreta in chiave moderna gli spazi. La calcarenite, l'ossatura dei Sassi e della Murgia, ha tantissime conchiglie fossili all’interno, e Murice sarà il vostro fossile guida alla scoperta della città.

La mia casa è una tipica abitazione dei Sassi di Matera, in parte scavata nella roccia ed in parte costruita in tufo. Gli spazi sono stati arredati con un accenno di richiamo alla storia dei popoli che hanno vissuto per secoli in queste grotte, senza togliere nulla al confort che la modernità ci ha donato.
