This beautiful, rustic beachfront bungalow was built by our family, in front of the Pacific with one of the BEST views in Santa Teresa/Mal Pais areas, as we actually have a BEACH view in front. This quaint rustic beach bungalow has a rustic feel with modern comfort. A home made hardwood canopy queen sized bed faces the double doors to the sea. Full sized kitchen with basic rustic cooking gear and utensils. Private open bathroom inside casita with full shower , sinks, toilet. Located under the shady almond trees, where monkeys linger daily, surrounded by flowers, breezes and hammocks. Next door you will find a lovely traditional cafe located under the same trees in front of the beach with surfboard rentals. We are a 2 min walk to a great local surf school if your interested in lessons. We are also a short walk to the great restaurants of the North end of Santa Teresa like Florblanca and Milarepa. A quick inexpensive taxi and you are in the center of town or anywhere you need to go as we have our own 4 full sized SUV Toyotas that seat 5. We can also arrange to pick you up from the local airport (Tambor) for $50 or the town bus-stops, or anywhere you like. Taxi rides in town one way range between $8.00-$20. Villa Carambola is one of four villas at Villas Solar. It has one bedroom with ac in the bedroom. There is a living room, full kitchen, one bathroom, and outside patio with hammock for lounging about. There is cable tv, high speed wifi, caretaker. We have two internet providers on the property, both with 200 megs, and all routers with back up batteries in case of outages, in case you need to work during your stay. We are pet friendly and also we offer laundry service for a fee.

The cottage is made with antics what gives it his unique warm touch, no tree had to be cut to make it. The property was completely reforested in the last 30 years.

It's a few minutes walk uphill from the main road but the atmosphere and the privacy is worth every single step. The beach, surf rentals and a grocery store are all in 5 - 10 minutes walking distance.
