Wade Inn Iron River

The Wade Inn Iron River is a great place to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature and be less than a half mile from town! Very peaceful setting on a quiet wooded lot with lots of shade trees and outdoor table and chairs with a Grill!! Iron River is also a great location, close to National Forests, the World famous Brule river, and Lake Superior all within a fifteen minute drive!! Bayfield and the Apostle Islands are also not too much further, and are great easy day trips to enjoy.

Sylvan Chalet, Modern, Lakefront, Close to Trails

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Easy walking distance to everything in Cable. It can sleep 5-6, but makes a great space for 2-4. 3 mi from the Birkie start, 2.5 mi from the North End Cabin. ATV & Snowmobile right from the driveway. Full furnace for heat and central air conditioning for those hot summer days!

Cable Rustic Yurt

Explore thousands of acres of public forest land and enjoy endless miles of some of the best recreational trails Wisconsin has to offer. Step out of the yurt, located in the middle of Bayfield County Forest land, and right onto CAMBA mountain bike trails and the North End ski trails (which connect to the American Birkebeiner ski trails). This is a rustic, minimally maintained yurt so come prepared to relax, unwind and explore the wonders of the north woods.

Cozy Fireplace in a Northwoods Tiny House

Deer Haven is a tiny house (192 sq feet) located in my backyard, overlooking acres of woodland. The space is small and simple. Get to the queen bed in the sleeping loft by climbing the ladder. Bathroom has a toilet and stock tank shower. The kitchen has basic amenities - fridge, microwave, hot plate, griddle, dishes, etc. Best spot in the house is on the couch, where you can see the fireplace and the gorgeous woods out the patio door.

The Bear Den

The Bear Den is a beige/green trim home with a perfect location for all your outdoor ventures, located on the corner of Hwy 63 and Leonard School Rd between Seeley and Cable, WI. This 2- bedroom, 1 1/2 bath unit features Northwoods decor. Relax in private backyard with firepit, free firewood, a gas grill and outdoor furniture. Convenience cooking only with restaurants, gas and grocery shopping nearby Cable, WI, or Seeley, WI.
