Designed and built in the 70's, and freshly renovated in 2025 - the best of both retro architecture with modern style and convenience. Lake front with full access to the no-motor Lake Solitude. Includes use of canoe and pedal powered boats.

Welcome to the serenity of the Chain O' Lakes in Waupaca. The retreat is nestled amongst towering pine trees across the street from Taylor Lake, the beginning of 22 interlocking lakes. Get a bird's eye view into the kitchen of the Village Hive Bakery Kitchen while staying in the newly renovated "flatlet". Salvaged & repurposed building supplies used to create a unique studio apartment above the bakery retail. Guests can enjoy the retail farmhouse table and comfortable seating space by the Main Street picture window. Cooking/baking classes available.

Please be aware that a close venue has bands/music that can easily be heard when outside and the music may be heard when indoors. Three night minimum Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend.
