Groß Raden hat ein archäologisches Freilichtmuseum mit Ferienprogrammen und zwei Restaurants. Vom Steg oder Boot aus kann geangelt werden. Zur Ostsee, nach Schwerin sowie nach Wismar und Rostock sind ca. 45 km.
