Ook heeft het een trein station met Intercity aansluiting. Alkmaar en Centraal Amsterdam is 20 minuutjes. Cafés en restaurants zijn ruim aanwezig in het mooie Castricum. Een groot winkelcentrum en supermarkten zijn 7 dagen open.

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. Het prachtige Noord-Hollandse duingebied en het strand (10min), maar ook ook Alkmaar(15min) en Amsterdam(30min) zijn goed bereikbaar. Parkeren kan aan de straat en is gratis. U kan gratis gebruik maken van de fietsen. U krijgt een privé stuk tuin tot uw beschikking.

We can cater up to 4 persons in the apartment, which is part of our canal house, with a master bedroom (kingsize bed) and a sleeping sofa in the living room. We welcome guests that are looking for a unique stay in a historic canal house. We like to give families with (little) children a family experience in our apartment, a vibrant place in a picturesque Dutch canal house, overlooking the Westerkerk and Anne Frank House.
