Knockmore: Lakeside 1

Welcome to Knockmore's 2 Lakeside cabins. Enjoy one of our 2 private 2 bedroom cabins while living alongside the calming waters of the Bras d'Or Lakes. Both cabins are newly built and offer a clean, modern, airy, open concept layout. The two cabins are about 100 feet apart; they each offer a wonderful secluded, covered porch overlooking the Bra d'Or lakes. We cap each cabin at 4 guests and 2 cars. All guests must register their ID 48 hours before check-in. All reservations are for 2+ nights.

The Studio

The Studio is a charming, quiet and perfect rest stop and starting point for your Cape Breton exploration. Get acclimated for a day or two or seven! Feel the wonderful sensation of living near the sea. Wake to a peaceful water view each day. Easy walking, birding, biking and kayaking accessible steps from your door. Our clean waterways, trails and backroads offer a getaway unlike no other. The UNESCO HERITAGE SITE of the Bras d'or Lakes and the Village of St. Peter's are just 4 miles away.

The Nest

This spacious and bright guest suite is tastefully set among the trees and provides a perfect viewpoint to watch the birds and enjoy the sun rise. Enjoy a private driveway and outdoor seating area, a modern living area with Wifi, Fibre-op Smart TV, a queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom. We are minutes from local shopping, markets, restaurants, the Sydney Waterfront, the Big Fiddle and the many scenic sights that make Cape Breton memorable. Come visit us, we can't wait to meet you.

Cozy Spot

This is a newly built and centrally located Airbnb located within minutes of the ocean. Equipped with all the amneties of home for a nice stay , 2 bedroom's included and has lots of room including 2 bathrooms with showers in each. There is Tv's in each unit with a couch to relax. Stove & fridge to cook a nice meal. The Cabot Trail is about an hour away. Newfoundland ferry is 15 mins away. Great unit for 2 people or 4. There is an adjoining door in the middle that seperates the units.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!
