Just under 10 minutes from Fairlie, 40 min from Lake Tekapo and only 1.5 hr from MT Cook, is our super cute historic Farmers cottage. Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

A quiet and private oasis overlooking native bush on our farm in Banks Peninsula. A unique, off the grid experience in our warm (centrally heated) and luxurious, brand new caravan. Gaze at the stars in your own little paradise whilst soaking in our private outdoor bath and/or enjoy exploring the spectacular bays around Banks Peninsula. Our 1/2 acre section is fully fenced so that your pet (if bringing) can roam freely. Even though we are off grid, we have great internet access (fast WIFI).

Arrive at the wonderful space we have created for a peaceful relaxing stay. Sit on the deck or in the spa and enjoy a gorgeous sunset with a glass of wine listening to the bird song. The Herb Farm Cottage is a world of it's own in rural Grehan Valley. Here in the country garden stream side setting of the former Herb Farm (New Zealand's first opened in 1976) you will find the original cottage with the ground floor studio/bed sitting room and adjoining parlour. Relax and enjoy the special setting of flowers, wishing well, native bird life, frogs, friendly free range chooks, ducks on the pond and a great night sky. All just a 15 minute stroll to the village and seaside.

Warm, cosy and comfortable cottage, situated near the peaceful Motunau village, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Private outdoor space. Spectacular views over the ocean and plenty of room to turn a boat. We are an hour north of Christchurch, 30min from the Hurunui Mouth taking the scenic route and close to great local wineries. Beach access is 2km from the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk in our gully or interact with our alpacas.

A 5min drive to the ferry to take you to lyttelton for great restaurants or the saturday farmers market. or just hang out with the resident goats.
