Cosy Motunau Cottage

Warm, cosy and comfortable cottage, situated near the peaceful Motunau village, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Private outdoor space. Spectacular views over the ocean and plenty of room to turn a boat. We are an hour north of Christchurch, 30min from the Hurunui Mouth taking the scenic route and close to great local wineries. Beach access is 2km from the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk in our gully or interact with our alpacas.

Our Farm Cottage is a very warm little cottage with all the mod-cons. Whether you're passing through or need a home base while exploring the South Island, you'll love our cottage! The farm is a small block and home to cows, calves, a few pigs, a couple of dogs, two cats and your friendly hosts Paul and Dale. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.
