The Hut faces over the lake with glorious, uninterrupted views over the Fontmell Downs. The Hut is but offers a luxurious glamping opportunity with all the mod cons. The Barn is a converted property located at the head of the stunning Tarrant valley within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The main living area has dual aspect and bifold doors out onto an enclosed patio, garden and seating area. Two of the bedrooms have internal balconies into the main body of the barn and triple velux roof windows to enjoy the rural views. Cosy 1-bedroom cottage in Dorset

Welcome to peace and relaxation in my Grade II listed cottage in historic Shaftesbury. The self-catering cottage is in a unique gated courtyard near the foot of Gold Hill and is within a short walk of the town centre and a local pub. It is compact and therefore suitable for singles and couples (I do not accept 3rd party bookings), and we also welcome well-behaved pets. You will have use of a private enclosed garden a short walk from the cottage, and on-street parking is available nearby.

Located on a no-through road with only local residents traffic, giving a peaceful setting with views of the surrounding hills. Shaftesbury just over a mile with its historic Gold Hill and a good choice of shops and places to eat. It is a good base for exploring the area, offering historic houses, interesting gardens, walks, the Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath and much more.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Milkwell’s heavenly place

Wake up to the divine sound of rich birdsong- this one bedroom studio is exceptionally comfortable and has a peaceful, stylish atmosphere. It is separate to the main house so you have total privacy and the whole space is yours to be enjoyed. Underfloor heating makes it gloriously warm and inviting, the linen sheets are of the finest quality, and it is in a beautiful valley which has an unusual amount of song birds and owls. It has been designed with peace and comfort in mind.

The Melbury Shaftesbury, Dorset

The Melbury Set on the edge of our peaceful fishing lake, this bespoke Shepherd’s Hut looks out onto an outstanding view of Melbury Hill. Book a retreat at the Melbury for full private access to the lake’s surroundings, where you can relax in jacuzzi bath, recline on the luxury sunbeds, unwind and recharge. Spot the sights and sounds of the wildlife; walk over the bridge and step onto the island of quietness, where you will find a fire pit, BBQ and seating area.
