Spend the days exploring the surrounding woods, roasting hot dogs in the fire pit area, or heading over to nearby Snipe Lake for some ice fishing (a 10 minute drive away). Propane heat, indoor plumbing, Wifi, Roku TV and a cozy queen sized memory foam mattress ensure that comfort is no issue out here in its private, tranquil location.

Refuge Bay is currently Alberta’s only 4- season Glamping destination, with hundreds of acres of land to explore. Take in all that nature has to offer in this unique getaway, without the need for your own camping gear or busy campgrounds. Escape and unplug while you explore the gorgeous Parkland landscape & private preserved wetland lake. The area has plenty of wildlife to keep you entertained, so bring your camera or binoculars.

Trappers Cabin on a Sleddog Farm

Spend the night in a unique setting and company. Kilyan and Anna live with nearly 30 sled dogs at the Rocky Wolf Ranch. The trapper's cabin sleeps two and is lovingly furnished. With a view of the horse paddocks and dog kennels, you can enjoy breakfast or sunbathe on the veranda. The ranch is located directly on Prairie Creek. Here you can fish, swim, or simply enjoy nature. Programs with the sled dogs are available as an option.
