Our property is full of mature elm and oak trees. We have 7 acres of park like trails cut and mowed throughout the property. We protect our wildlife habitats so wild turkey, wild hogs, whitetail deer, raccoons, armadillos, hummingbirds, Robins, egrets, painted buntings, and red tail and red shoulder hawks are on the property.

Located 50 minutes from Austin and an hour from San Antonio, our property sits out in the country about the same distance from Lockhart and Luling on FM 86. Our adorable guest cottage is located behind our house on a couple of acres surrounded by woods and fields. Perfect for 1 or 2 people to enjoy the beauty and solitude that the country offers. The Package Store

Relax at this early 20th century former package store that now nestles among post oaks and pines on our family ranch in Bastrop County. The Package Store was built by my grandfather in the early 1930’s overlooking the Brazos River in the East Texas community of Washington-on-the-Brazos. “Old Washington,” as it is locally known, was the site of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence from Mexico on March 2, 1836.
