The living/dining room is spacious and the well-equipped kitchen has a large cooker and a breakfast area. Ashburton offers antique shops galore, plus lots of food choices with a fantastic deli , an award-winning fish deli and an artisan bakery in the town centre, and there are many traditional pubs close by.

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day.
