We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Across the street is The Warehouse Market & Bakery, so you can grab some cinnamon rolls and groceries. Splash pad, parks, shopping & more in the town of Atmore (6 miles).

If you want to escape traffic and people, this is the perfect place. Destin, Pensacola, Navarre, and Fort Walton Beach are a hour drive away. Beautiful local parks and rivers are within 10 minutes. This is the place for hunters hunting blackwater! Blackwater State Forest is steps away from the camper and river, just a two minute drive down the road. There is a laundry mat conveniently located less than a mile. We are not responsible for water, Power or Internet service issues that may occur during your stay.
