Guest can visit nearby Bonavista, approximately 18 km away, or Trinity approximately 32km away. Guest will be provided with code for keyless entry before arrival. Tea and Coffee available. Because it is right on the water it has a propane Cinderella Incinerator toilet and a propane on demand hot water system. The harbour is a highly sought location and photographed daily by visitors who pass by. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy a beverage on the deck overlooking the water!

our cottage has a breath taking view. while relaxing on our patio and enjoying the ocean breeze you may have the opportunity to see iceberg or view a whale in season. we are walking distance from a local restaurant,convenience store,walking trail and minutes from Cape Bonavista ,Dungeon and other historic sites. we have 2 bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen with open concept,laundry facilities, and on those chilly nights you can relax and enjoy our fireplace.

Along The Shore

Along the Shore B&B is located in the community of Melrose, in Trinity Bay North. The house, which is located on a very private lot, is considered a traditional Newfoundland biscuit box house. Melrose is centrally located between the historic towns of Trinity and Bonavista, and only minutes away from historic Port Union. Along the Shore has spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, and Ragged Islands just off the shore of Melrose.

A classic sea side cottage with so much heritage charm. Many of the original architectural details on the exterior have been restored. This property is located in a historic Bonavista neighbourhood, known as Canaille, which was known for public houses and the fishing class. Many homes in this area of town were constructed before roads. This is why the narrow laneways snake and wave around the homes today.

We are asking that guests book a 2 night minimum stay to accommodate our enhanced cleaning protocols. Nan’s and Pop’s oceanfront salt box style home! Newly built in 2019, this house is centrally located in the historic Mockbeggar area of Bonavista. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, Old Days Pond boardwalk, churches, and the Matthew Legacy building.
