The Barn - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Barn provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Barn is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Stables. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Conveniently located a short stroll from town you will find a supermarket, cafes, pool and pubs. Just 30 minutes drive to Falls Creek, next door to Big Hill Bike Park and close to the river.

Set on two hectares of steep landscaped grounds, the unique site will take your breath away with its native plantings, visiting kangaroos, native birds, and private outdoor dining space.

Fully self-contained two bedroom cottage, less than 2km from Mount Beauty in the beautiful Kiewa Valley. Nestled amongst 3 acres of stunning native gardens, towering majestic eucalypts and a pristine Alpine stream running through the property. There is a seasonal heated swimming pool, BBQ area, fire pit and playground Nest Swing. Cottage has air conditioning, floor heating and a private verandah. Approx 40mins to Falls Creek, 35mins to Bright. Perfect getaway for any time of the year.

Relax and enjoy the magnificent views of Mt. Bogong from your own room and bbq patio area! Only 40 minutes drive to Falls Creek ski fields and high country this is the perfect place to base yourself for the ultimate getaway. There are many outdoor activities to do in the area including skiing in winter, horseback riding, bike riding, hiking, running, golf, fishing etc! Sit back and relax while watching the numerous native birds that frequent my bird bath each day, so enjoyable.

EV charge point available! Light and spacious, with a focus on comfort, this well laid-out, original Mount Beauty cottage, is ideally located for you to relax in and enjoy this beautiful area. We have tried to make a home away from home for you to enjoy. The house is not new and angular but older, mature, softened and comforting. If you are looking for old fashioned relaxation with comfy beds, sunny corners, throw rugs, books to read and DVDS to watch, this might be for you.

Green Gables

Green Gables is a peaceful cottage situated in lush gardens on the banks of the Ovens River in Bright. The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

With spectacular mountain and valley views, make yourself at home and relax in this contemporary, sustainable design townhouse. Just a five-minute walk to the Mount Beauty town centre and a 40-minute drive to Falls Creek and Bright, it’s the perfect retreat after a day on the ski fields or exploring Victoria’s beautiful north-east. Go for a bike ride, ski or snowboard, swim or bushwalk in the scenic surrounds, or stay in and enjoy the views from the spacious decks.

Alpine Heights! Spring, summer & autumn getaway 🌄

Boasting spectacular views.. Alpine Heights is a majestic location situated at the top of Mt Hotham. Come and stay and see the native spring flowers bloom, go for beautiful nature hikes in summer, and see local towns, warm colour array of falling leaves in autumn. Spectacular! This apartment has a king bed that can be split into x2 single kings, as well as a fold out single sofa. Long term stays available. Linen and towels will be provided.

Alpine Cottage

Enjoy a relaxing weekend get away where you can take in the fresh air and spectactular alpine views. Whether it's summer, autumn, winter or spring there is plenty to do- walks, hikes, mountain bike riding, horse riding, river swimming, rafting, skiing, snowboarding and taboggining. There are some excellent wineries in the surrounding areas to visit. Mount Beauty township is a short 2km walk or bike ride away.

That Other Place

Central location, skiing in winter, biking in summer! Light filled 1 bedroom/Studio with some cooking facilities. Suits couple, small family, couple + 1. Not suitable for 4 adults. ***winter 2025 is byo towels and linen due to me having a new baby and no capacity to do linen. Price is altered accordingly. If you are flying and can't bring own linen and towels please ask and I can arrange.
