This four season loft house with a cerdar sauna, can be enjoy all year round. Experience unmatched backcountry remoteness with a fully equipped cabin at the end of the trail. A beautiful hike and paddle through a private trail and two isolated lakes brings you to our cozy off-grid A-frame cabin on a remote lake, surrounded by moose pasture and the soaring granite cliffs of the Canadian Shield. Reachable only by canoe, which we supply - no portaging is required. A back-country adventure to a cozy cabin!

The Cedar Rose

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Our space is an inviting space to unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying the stars on a clear night.
