Our newly built second home is located in Útey 2, by the Laugarvatn Lake. Útey 2 used to be an old farm and is around 720 acres (320 hectares) and have been in the family for generations. Most of the south side of Lake Laugarvatn is part of the land so you can have complete privacy. You can take a long walks in private, go paddling in our double seated canoe, relax in the hottub with tens of km. of unobstructive view, watch the birdlife and even try your luck fishing for trout.

The kitchen has all the usual utensils, pots and pan, a toaster, tea kettle, three kind of coffee makers, a blender, micro-oven etc. Kitchen and the living room are in an open space with a door to a balcony, facing east. Great view over the lake and mountains. There is a private washing machine & dryer in a shared laundry room on the ground floor.
