Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

At the end of the street is the marina which hosts fabulous dining and boat ramp or walk to the Texas Parks Freshwater Fishery for a tour and fishing. Wifi and cable TV now available. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This tree house is sitting on stilts among trees where a beautiful oak tree comes through the elevated outside dining patio area. The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
