Walk out to the back deck and experience some of the best views of Waterbury including Fireworks from the back deck (July). Wi-Fi/cable, central AC/hot air, washer/dryer, and patio furniture/grill (seasonal) are included with the stay. Plenty of entertainment (board games, corn hole, foosball, air hockey) are provided. This house is truly relaxing and will feel like home.

Newly restored cottage, after being off Airbnb for 5 years, with cathedral living/kitchen area. Indoor/outdoor fireplaces & views of the stone sculpted grounds on the West River. The bedroom is on the ground floor with bath & wood stove. There are miles of trails across the river at Bittner Park. Bittner has a beautiful 18 hole disc golf course, pickle ball courts, basketball and a running track. A 1/4 mile away by car or a 5 minutes walk over the "Peter Pan Bridges"-not for the faint of heart.

If you enjoy being in the countryside, a rustic atmosphere that’s not far away from necessities, then our place may be suitable for you. Our place is mostly suitable for professional travelers who need a longer term place to stay and that physically go to a workplace. We unfortunately cannot accommodate those who work full time remotely, it’s just not a comfortable fit for all on the property. There’s various hiking trails in the area if you are so inclined.

House is located in quiet neighborhood and centrally located to just about everything you may need.... beaches, restaurants, entertainment, hospitals, colleges, shops, etc via vehicle. Based on your interest and needs in restaurants, food, shops, activities, etc, you can use Google Maps, Yelp, Uber Eats, etc to provide you with several options. Nicely setup one full-sized bed apartment that sleeps two, provides you with privacy and comfort.

The main house built in 1779 extends its character to the guest house which has views of an open field. On property there is a working restored horse barn. We are minutes to the spectacular downtown area of Guilford and easy access to Durham, Madison, and other surrounding towns and highways!

It is a 5 min drive (or 20 min walk) from Yale's campus and there is a shuttle stop right next to the house on Whitney (blue/orange lines).
