The 'Outhouse' is attached to the deck and is a separate space to hangout, watch movies & use the PS4. There is everything you need at the Mermaid Cottage!

Pet friendly and centrally located within the town of Beaufort, this rental space is one of a kind! Bike or walk to shops, restaurants and attractions downtown. We provide the bikes! Beaufort has many special tours, historic sites , events, and fun things to do! After a busy day , relax on the top deck where the view is spectacular with sightings of wild ponies and egrets. We are happy to share our special getaway at Homers Landing and truly hope you get to enjoy it as much as we do. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from your own private balcony located on Town Creek. It's a short walk, bike ride or paddle to historic Beaufort Waterfront Restaurants, museums, bars, tour operators, novelty shops, and ferry boat transportation to Cape Lookout and Shackelford Banks. When traveling with pets we accept behaved pets for a 10.00 nightly charge per pet.

Our waterfront paradise sits on a point on Queens Creek with a 180-degree view of the quarter-mile-wide estuary, just upriver from the Intracoastal Waterway and 5 miles from the ocean. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.
