Wern Ddu, Defynnog, scenic Brecon Beacons

Wern Ddu is set down a private drive (private parking) in its own garden with beautiful views down to the river and of the surrounding Beacons. In the designated dark skies area of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park with miles of walks and exciting visitor attractions, Wern Ddu offers the perfect dog friendly escape for up to four guests in a relaxing atmosphere, a short distance from Brecon, Merthyr Tydfil and the villages of Sennybridge and Defynnog with their traditional pubs and shops.

Shepherd's Hut in Brecon Beacons

Escape to the Bannau Brychieniog / Brecon Beacons National Park and stay in our cosy shepherd's hut. The 'Bee Hive' hut is close to the village of Penderyn and next to Beili Helyg Farm. The hut has a double bed, kitchen & dining area with folding table, fridge & ice box, combi microwave oven, double induction hob and Belfast sink. There is a shower room with flushing toilet. Below the master bed is an alcove with a futon for a child to sleep comfortably. Decking, fire pit, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

Little Pudding Cottage

Little Pudding Cottage 's Welsh name is Pontbren-Ddu and is a beautiful example of a country hideaway. Nestled in the Welsh countryside, just into the Cambrian Mountains, it enjoys the splendour of nature and peaceful calm of times past. The accommodation is full of character and original charm, while maintaining the modern comforts of home. With its own garden, this former shepherd's cottage is surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape at the very end of a single-track road.

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Freesat T.V and Wifi If you wish to stay connected to the outside world or peace and quiet if not.

The Stables, stylishly renovated is an idyllic cottage hideaway in the heart of the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. Ideal as a base to explore the Mid Wales lakes and mountains, a romantic weekend, or just to relax. Just 10 minutes from the town of Brecon with its historic cathedral, yet only an hour from Cardiff; the cultural hub of Wales. The local village; a few minutes away is convenient with it's garages & convenience stores and pubs. Well behaved dogs welcome to stay.

Spring Farm’s authentic railway carriage is set in a secluded orchard with stunning panoramic views down the whole length of the Bryn Awr valley to the Brecon Beacons. Welcome to The Potting Shed! A cosy couples retreat, renovated to a very high standard, with many funky features and fantastic attention to detail. Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things. Transformed from my everyday potting shed, it’s now a spacious, warm and welcoming hideaway for two which I’m very proud of.

Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! (plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)

Come and stay at one of our luxury Glamping cabins, explore our natural setting with natural pond and enjoy some peace and tranquility with beautiful mountain views. Relax in your own private hot tub and do some star gazing and then shower in our hot out door shower. Outside you will have your own dining space and fire pit. Relax inside the heated cabin looking out into the trees and do a bit of bird spotting. Cook and dine in a well equipped kitchen and dining area.

Orchard Barn

The Orchard Barn at Old Court Farm. Our country hideaway has been lovingly brought to life from its humble beginnings as a Old cider barn. Designed and built here on the farm, this modern conversion brings a luxurious ‘interior feel’ surrounded by never-ending oak beams with views over looking the apple orchards. With 70 acres of near by orchards for you and your pets to ‘roam freely’ it’s a true feeling of the very beautiful English countryside.

Ty Gwilym; a beautiful Brecons barn conversion

Ty Gwilym nestles on the edge of Llangorse village in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, offering high quality, spacious accommodation. There are two pubs within a very short walking distance and easy access to Llangorse lake and the hills where you can find wonderful walks, bike rides and stunning scenery. It is ideally located with Abergavenny, Hay, Crickhowell and Brecon all less than 30 minutes away.
