The Tired Beagle has ample parking, located next to road for quick access.

Verde Grove Cabins - "Oink"

Our lovely cabin offers a hot tub, screened in porch, gas grill, fire ring, and the amenities of home conveniently situated between Athens and Hocking Hills, in an ATV-friendly community. We are located near Nelsonville's Historic Arts District, the Nelsonville Music Festival, Hocking College, Hocking Hills State Park, Athens & Ohio University, Lake Hope State Park, and Wayne National Forest. "Oink" is located on 50 acres of privately owned property and is sure to meet your vacation needs.

The Sunroom Loft

Bright and sunny open concept apartment. Newly remodeled with tons of windows, stylish furniture, local art, and easy access to everything Athens has to offer. The downstairs of this house is also a rental. We hold very strict quiet hours from 11pm-8am. Sound travels downstairs from this unit so we ask that you are respectful of the others sharing the property. This is not a place for partying! The backyard, patio, front yard, and locked bicycle storage are shared between the units.

The Cottage

This is a rural location. Located on an open hill along a private drive, this newly built -"little house on the prairie"- is surrounded by fields on one end and woods on the other. The moon and lotsa stars at night -no neighbors nearby. Trails and ponds are available for your enjoyment. Swimming* and fishing is encouraged in the warmer months. A small outdoor fire ring is nearby. Hiking in the woods on the far side of the field will be off limits last week of October through thanksgiving.

Seven Oaks Cabin

I welcome you to Seven Oaks Cabin. It is a place of well-being for individuals who like to connect with nature while staying in a primitive cabin away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The interior consists of a variety of wood-eastern white pine, cedar and cherry. The living area has furniture made by local Amish, septic system for flush toilet, instant hot water, small bedroom with bunk bed (full mattress on bottom/ twin on top), efficiency kitchen, and loft with queen mattress.

7 miles from Ohio University. Great for couples and families. Newly renovated A frame cabin in a country/ wooded setting. Cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen, Washer/ dryer. We offer a smart TV with wifi for entertainment. The cabin is heated and cooled with mini split units, one down stairs and one in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has access to private porch decks. We are pet friendly. WE ARE NOT A BUG FREE ENVIRONMENT. I promise you will see a stinkbug, lady bug or wood beetle.

Yellow Dog Barndominium

Our brand new barndominium is a 10 minute drive from Ohio University, yet sits on a 100+ acres in the country. You will find it located near the front of the property, feet away from a 16 acre private water ski lake with beautiful sunset views. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming during their stay. We designed this as a couples retreat, including a 4 person hot tub, but a second bedroom with a full bed and twin trundle can accommodate friends or family who may join you.

Twin Oak

The Twin Oak cabin has been recently renovated, and is identical to and just past our Big Pine cabin. The Twin Oak is more secluded, with a short but steep driveway. Couples often prefer this cabin because it is more hidden at the end of the road. Because of the driveway, guests pulling any type of trailer prefer our Big Pine cabin. If the Twin Oak is selected, a trailer can be parked behind the cabin or at the top of the driveway.

Terrell Place

Country, quiet setting, just minutes from town. You will fall in love with Terrell road and all it's country charm and, we can't say it enough, it is quiet. Tucked in a valley just outside of Athens Terrell Place will give you the peace you need. Also there is plenty of entertainment while you stay such as sitting on the front porch or back deck. Plus Corn Hole, Netflix, Board Games, Books and more.

Apartment in quiet, scenic Athens subdivision cul-de-sac, 4 miles from OU campus. Lower level with one queen bedroom, extra queen futon for additional guests, kitchenette, 2 acres of woods/lawn, Netflix, Brit Box, Acorn, Paramount Amazon Prime, Disney, Wi-fi. Owners with 2 small dogs on premises. Stars galore!
