Our private apartment is a lovely retreat on a country road with mountain views. Come rest and rejuvenate in our quiet getaway or enjoy a scenic walk. We offer a full efficiency with wifi, Dish, and flatscreen TV for your enjoyment. Full kitchen, washer, dryer, and private patio for your use. We are located just three minutes from Sweet Briar College, 20 minutes from Liberty University, and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to restaurants and downtown Amherst. Various orchards and historical landmarks dot the landscape. Come and enjoy!

This unique and secluded cabin sits on 75 acres in the Blue Ridge mountains. Enjoy the cozy wood fireplace, hot tub, charcoal grill, and fast, reliable fiberoptic internet if you need to get some work done while you're away. It has a washer and dryer, a full kitchen, and is pet-friendly (no pet fee!), so you can enjoy it with the whole family. On the grounds you have a Hot Tub, Barn, Private Gym, Playground, Fire-pit, Hammock, Acres to Roam, Multiple Decks, etc. A quick ~10 minute walk to the Falling Rock Bridge on the Tye River for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or looking for Otters! Nelson lake has a boat ramp and public fishing just 5 miles away.

Charming Renovated 1930's Soapstone Workers' Bungalow Relaxing, peaceful getaway in gorgeous Nelson County. Adjacent to a large hay field which leads down to a private branch of the Rucker's Run with excellent fishing. The cottage is at the end of a quiet country lane with few nearby houses. The newly renovated home was initially built to house workers from a soapstone quarry located on the property. During the remodel, we even found rationing coupons from 1945 hidden in the walls!

Experience the Blue Ridge Mountains in a 1940’s fishing cabin! Guests adore Parr's Camp-it's rustic outside & restored charm inside. A private pond & the Tye River flow steps away for you to enjoy the ever-changing mountain stream. Our family friendly cabin allows children areas to explore nature & enjoy marshmallows over the campfire. We have enhanced our cleaning procedures & taken care to properly disinfect between reservations.
