Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

In this place you can stay close to everything. The location is central and has free parking for two cars. The apartment has two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. There is the possibility of extra bed and Travel cot for toddlers. Spacious bathroom with shower and a full kitchen. 15 min. walk to city center 7 min. walk to Telegrafbukta Good bus connections. The apartment was newly renovated in January 2022. We live in the rest of the house ourselves, so parties are not allowed.

Kjøkkenet har det du trenger for å tilberede og nyte måltider hjemme. Oppreide senger og håndklær. To garderobeskap. Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. This is the perfect place to stay in Tromsø. Welcome!

Walking distanse to city center (1,3km), Tromsø museum and folkeparken (900m), Telegrafbukta (1,1km) and busstop (100m). This bus takes you to the airport, kvaløya with amazing hiking and skiing oppertunities, giæverbukta for shopping, Prestvannet and to the city center.

Make yourself at home in my new apartment, located a pleasant 25-minute walk from Tromsø city centre. This special location is just a short stroll from Telegrafbukta beach – a local favourite for its beautiful views and clear skies, perfect for northern lights watching. Some nights, you don’t even need to leave the apartment – the aurora can be seen right from the private balcony.
