With quirky character & few mod-cons this is a place to be away from the TV, rest up & enjoy stunning nature on the doorstep. We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. Relax on the Kaipara Harbour

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
