Welcome to Islet Cottage - an artistic, eco-friendly, off-grid, data detox escape on a tiny bay in the historical community of Silver Islet. This whimsical open concept space encourages you to enjoy the outdoors through hiking, cycling, swimming, birding, kayaking or canoeing. Once you arrive, you'll be transported into a magical world that connects you to the very best that nature has to offer. 3 night minimum stay. 6 night minimum stay (check-in Saturday, check-out Friday) July and August.

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable off grid escape. Twin modern treehouses with connecting tower including suspension bridges to access rooms. Treehouses overlook a 5 acre private lake, with hanging chairs beneath and cafe lighting. Firepit awaits just feet from the tower. Under the tower, a modern bathroom with shower. Welcome to our beautiful Muskoka Retreat, just 20 mins from the town of Huntsville. There is a complimentary Provincial Park Pass provided, between check in and check out times. The decor is fresh and intimate, with warm wood accents. Our property is surrounded by trees, on 10 acres of forested land, where you can enjoy the company of many species of birds and wildlife. The guest house is completely separate and private, from our home, which is 50 feet away, and it was newly built in 2022.
