Your family will be close to everything when you stay with us, no matter the season! Our home is walking distance to restaurants, breweries, bike rentals and South Lake Tahoe’s bike trail! If bikes or summer isn’t for you, come visit in the winter. Our home is a short 10 minute drive to California Lodge at Heavenly Ski Resort! Kirkwood Studio – Full Kitchen & Meadow Balcony

Unwind in comfort at this updated and inviting Kirkwood studio condo, perfectly situated for summer mountain adventures. With a private balcony overlooking a peaceful meadow, it’s the ideal spot to relax with a book or soak in the views after a day of hiking, biking, or exploring nearby lakes and streams. This well-appointed space sleeps up to four guests with a plush king bed and a queen pull-out couch, and includes a fully stocked kitchen, 55" TV, and cozy lounge chairs on the deck.

Location is amazing within walking distance to the village, community swimming pool, restaurants and less than a mile to private Bear Lake, where you will find a tandem kayak for your leisure. In Winter, XC Skiing, free shuttle to BV Ski Mountain, all in walking distance and yet secluded for a Winter wonderland experience. It accommodates up to 12 guests with additional cost.

Built by the famous architect Donald McDonald in 1974, our cabin has all his original designs and architecture. Red carpets, original light fixtures and mustard pulldown shades are a McDonald trademark! . The meadows to the side of the property are protected land, and covered with wildflowers in the spring. The Big House on the Lake is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. You can sit on the deck and watch the water foul as they become part of the scenery and just relax. The top part is available for air bnb families, the bottom part is locked as it is used for event space with no sleeping quarters.
