The North Coast 500 route also passes through Dingwall. Hill walking and nature trails are also easily accessible or if it's beaches you're after, there's an abundance.

The house is on the Black Isle 12 miles north of Inverness, on the NC500. Guests are welcome to enjoy the tranquil 2 acres of garden and the stunning views across the Cromarty Firth and of Ben Wyvis. You will have a large double bedroom and a private bathroom. It is a great place to stop off for one night for the NC500 or as a base to explore Loch Ness and the Highlands.
Osprey Cottage - comfort with stunning viewsOsprey Cottage is a pretty semi-detached self-catering cottage situated in tranquil wooded grounds in the hamlet of Alcaig on the Black Isle. The cottage has stunning views of the Cromarty Firth with the mountains of Easter Ross beyond from the living area. It is a view which is constantly changing with the tide and light. The tidal firth is a haven for wildlife and Ospreys can be seen most days in the summer months fishing over the firth and in the winter thousands of geese can be seen.
