Two villages and a small market sit a hundred meters back, reminding you civilization is still out there—but down here you're in your own world.

A Casa da Fonte fica no Lugar da Praia, uma pequena aldeia situada num vale entre a montanha e as praias, na costa sul de São Miguel. Fica no centro da Ilha, perto da via rápida, ideal como ponto de partida para longos passeios de carro ou a pé. Hi! We are Vitória and Hermínio, a happily married couple from the Azores. We live in Vila Franca do Campo for more than 30 years and we think this is the perfect town in the island to spend some relaxing holidays. Casa das Taipas is a 2-bedroom house in the heart of Vila Franca, right in front of the sea with an outsanding view to the Atlantlic Ocean and Ilhéu, a volcanic islet known among the villagers as the Princess Ring. We´re looking forward to hear from you!

With sea view, Quinta da Pavoa – Cottage House – is a sustainable house build in the countryside. Made of wood from the island, cryptomeria, this house is integrated in a steading. Not only did we keep the main structure of the house, but also the fire oven and the respective chimney, the mill of wine production and the basalt stone floor . And, to finalize we added a suspended living room - literally a glass cube.
