Capercaillie Lodge is a cosy and welcoming 6 person (with option of 1 additional person and a travel cot) lodge situated near to the banks of the River Spey, on the Speyside Way walking route. Decorated and furnished to a high standard, complete with a wood burning stove, it guarantees a warm welcome at any time of the year. Auchriachan Farm sits just outside the Village of Tomintoul the Highest village in the Highlands, a family working farm. We glamped ourselves & decided this would be an ideal situation to set up our own Pods to give others the experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Being in the Glenlivet Estate & also in the Cairngorm National Park there is lots to offer, walking, cycling, bird watching, skiing, also for STARGAZING & of course our National Scottish Drink "WHISKY" lots of Distilleries to Visit.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. The Cabin is a self catering one room chalet that contains 2 single beds, table, chairs, armchairs and a kitchen. An enclosed bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is included. Water is provided by the Cromdale hills via filtration system. The Cabin is fully insulated and heated for a cosy environment. Entertainment consists of TV, video & bluetooth boom bar speaker. Placement of The Cabin is close to the back of the house which provides privacy for guests. WiFi is available.

Woodend Retreat nestled in the heart of Speyside

A beautiful and tranquil setting, which is peaceful and relaxing. Facilities include a double bed in the main bedroom and a large sofa bed in the lounge area, both of which can be used as double beds or split into 2 singles. The property is a converted attic space and therefore has a sloping ceiling so be careful not to bump your head! We are in the heart of the Whisky Trail with many distilleries nearby, so a visit and a wee dram is a must!

Nochty Studio |Strathdon |Cairngorms National Park

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.

McFarlane Lodge has an open planned lounge and dinning area. The comfortable lounge includes a wood burning stove, SmartTV and a large dining table. The kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a fridge/freezer. There are two bedrooms, one contains a double bed. The second room contains two queen beds. Towels are provided.
