Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

Just a few yards from the village front green, shop, pontoons and slipway, the cottage is located within easy walking distance of all local amenities including the Tayvallich Inn, Taynish Nature Reserve and Carsaig beach. Recently renovated to a high standard and with private parking as well as ample space for boat trailers, kayaks, bikes, etc, Tigh na Croit offers the perfect base for exploring or relaxing.

Leac Na Sith, a cottage on the beach

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

It is a haven for water sports. Situated in a small, secluded development made up of a handful of properties, it is a wonderful place to stay to explore the beautiful area of Argyll and Bute. A big draw is the locally renowned Tayvallich Inn famous for its excellent menu featuring lots of local produce.
